Relaunch of the Schaller website with web shop

In keeping with the maxim “precision for music”, we are beginning the 80th anniversary year of the Schaller company. Our web shop now offers a new, user-friendly configurator interface and a shopping experience that has been improved in many details.

Improved selection and visualization of the product configurator

Easy-to-read typography, high-contrast product photography and user-friendly, clearly structured content have always formed the basis of our website. However, web technologies are constantly evolving, which is why we have made the configurator even easier and clearer to use, even on mobile devices.
As a service provider to the musical instrument industry such as musicians, instrument makers and resellers, the new product configurator enables us to meet the demands of our customers even better.

The new configurator

The selection you make in the product configurator for a tuning machine is now immediately displayed as an image in the media gallery.

1) Choose surface color:

Change the surface color of the configurator as you wish and display your desired color for the article.

2) Model: arrangement of left or right machine head

In addition to the selection of left and right machine head, the additional technical drawings of the headstock front make it easier for you to find the correct arrangement for assembly.

In the following link "⊕ Do you need help selecting left and right machine heads?" you will find further information on the correct distinction between left and right as a PDF file download.

3) Which button would you like?

Close ups show the different shapes, materials and colors in even more detail. The button you have selected is displayed immediately after clicking on it in the tuning machines gallery view.

4) Which post do I need for a slotted oder solid headstock?

The new additional technical headstock drawings with various posts on the machine heads now show the  mounting positions in detail.

Always note the additional dimension of the string rest, i.e. the height from the tuner bottom baseplate to the center of the capstan hole. This makes it easier to select the suitable post for your headstock thickness.

In the following link "⊕ Do you need help choosing the suitable post for your machine head?" you will find further information and dimensions for Schaller posts with dimensions as a PDF file download.

Step by step, the article display of the configurator adapts to the customer's specific requirements. The precisely configured image of the machine head with article number and price appears in real time for checking purposes.
