BM MusicMan style replacement bass machine head
Our well-known Music Man style bass machine head with the iconic BM tuning knob featuring the characteristic 1950s cloverleaf shape. In the proven quality that we have been producing for the bass industry for decades.
Music Man headstock configurations: 3+1 or 4+1
- Single left tuner: for B, E, A or D string
- Single right tuner: for G string
(If you require a set of machine heads, please order the respective number of left and right machine heads by using the configurator.)
Suitable for the following Music Man basses
- Righthanded StingRay, Sterling, Joe Dart, Cutlass & Caprice bass models.
- Older Bongo, Big Al & Reflex bass models made prior to April 2012: April 2012 is an approximate specification from Music Man.
Please note: These machine heads won´t work for
- StingRay Special bass,
- StingRay Short Scale bass,
- Sterling by Music Man Instruments and
- Music Man basses, which were originally equipped with light spade tuners.
Special features
- State of the art, highest precision, mounted with press in bushing.
- All parts are precision crafted and surface finished, the self-locking drive ensures an even, delicate and steady tuning.
- All string posts are made of high grade brass and fitted into the housing with utmost precision, ensuring the best possible tuning accuracy and wear resistance.
- You can switch from right to left and vice versa by yourself. Please unscrew the screw from the worm gear, lift the worm gear, turn around the worm screw with the button, place the worm gear again and tighten the screw.
