General Terms and Conditions
Schaller GmbH’s General Terms and Conditions for Internet Sales via the Online Store in “plain language.” These are for informational purposes only; the legally binding version can be found at General Terms and Conditions.§ 1 Scope, Content, and Conclusion of the Contract
1. These terms describe how the sales contract between Schaller GmbH (referred to as the “Seller”) and the buyer works. The Seller acts as a business, i.e., professionally.2. Only these terms apply. Other terms proposed by the buyer apply only if the Seller expressly agrees to them in advance.
3. These terms apply to private individuals (consumers) and to companies (businesses). A consumer purchases something for personal use. A business purchases something for work or the company.
4. The contract concerns the purchase of goods sold by the Seller.
5. The customer can place an order on the seller’s website. After placing the order, the customer receives a confirmation with all the details.
6. The contract and the terms and conditions are sent to the customer via email. Customers with an account can also view their orders there later.
7. The contract is concluded in German. German law applies.
8. All prices include sales tax.
§ 2 Purchase Process and Shipping Costs
1. The customer is responsible for shipping costs. The exact costs are listed in a table on the website.2. Upon conclusion of the contract, the customer must pay immediately. Various payment options are available.
3. The customer is responsible for any costs incurred due to unclaimed cash-on-delivery shipments or returned charges.
4. The seller may withdraw from the contract if the goods are not received. The customer will be notified immediately, and any money already paid will be refunded. In this case, the seller may offer similar goods.
5. If the customer is a business, they must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and report any defects. If they do not report the defects, the goods are deemed to be in good condition.
§ 3 Warranty and Liability
1. In the event of defects, the statutory provisions apply. No rights of consumers are restricted.2. For business customers, the warranty for new items is one year. Consumers are entitled to a two-year warranty.
3. The seller is not liable for minor defects.
§ 4 Title and Risk
1. The goods remain the property of the seller until the customer has paid in full.2. For business customers, the risk passes to the transport service upon handover. For consumers, the risk passes only upon delivery of the goods.
§ 5 Final Provisions
1. German law applies; the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.2. The place of jurisdiction for disputes is the seller’s registered office.
3. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
4. The seller does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before consumer arbitration boards.

Contact
When you use our contact form, we store the information you provide (name, email address, message) in order to process your inquiry. We then delete this information unless we have agreed to retain it for a longer period.
Job Applications
If you apply for a job with us via email, we will store your data for the application process. This data will be deleted after six months at the latest, unless you consent to longer storage.
Customer Account
If you create a customer account, we will store your data to make your shopping experience easier. You can revoke your consent at any time and have the account deleted.
Orders
For orders, we store only the necessary data. This data is shared, for example, with shipping companies and payment service providers. We strictly adhere to data protection laws in doing so.
Newsletter
With your consent, we will send you our newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time. We use the service CleverReach or similar providers for this purpose, which collect anonymized usage data to improve the newsletter.
Payment Service Providers
We offer payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, credit card, third-party payment methods (e.g., Klarna, Sofort, Giropay), and similar providers. These providers store and process your data to complete the payment transaction. For certain payment methods (e.g., credit card), PayPal may perform a credit check.

Send us a clear message (e.g., by mail, email, or via the online form) stating that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
On our website, you will find:
1.) The online withdrawal form that can be filled out.
2.) The cancellation form for download (not required), for use in an email or letter.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins as soon as you or a person designated by you (not the delivery service) have received the goods.
Right of Withdrawal
Consequences of Cancellation
If you cancel the contract, we will refund all amounts received from you, excluding shipping costs.
We will use the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.
You may be charged bank fees.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods.
Returning the goods
You must return the goods to us within 14 days of your withdrawal. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Loss of value of the goods
If the goods lose value due to improper use, you are liable for this loss of value.
No right of withdrawal for certain goods
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been custom-made for you or tailored to your specifications: This applies to all machine heads.
