The Schaller Vintage Tremolo fills a crucial gap in the market for guitarists and luthier: It combines the visual and sonic characteristics of a classic Fender* Stratocaster*-style tremolo with a modern, tuning-stable two-point knife-edge suspension in the original Floyd Rose* style.
Important compatibility note:
Unlike traditional vintage tremolos, which rely on a 6-point bolt-on mounting or a narrower 2-point system with a 56 mm spacing, this model features an exact bolt spacing of 74.3 mm for the height adjustment screws.
This makes it the perfect drop-in replacement for guitar bodies that are factory-milled for an original Floyd Rose* or a Schaller locking tremolo. You get the classic vibe without any complicated woodworking!
